LBD X STRIPES

I've never felt more "me" than I do in this #ootd.
allllll about the lbd x stripes combo, and then these booties?
home fcking run!

I'm beginning to value the importance of mixing prints because until lately, I was a v monochrome outfit coordinator. singular colors, one texture. but then, these boots inspired me. (and no, I'm not being facetious.) I've never been one to 'mix metals' but the gold & silver embroidering on them made me change my mind.

now, I'm taking time to create different layers within my looksliterally & figuratively...because it's that time of year, friends: winter!

the best thing about the chilly months?
+ beanies
+ boots/booties
+ irish coffees
+ high wool socks
+ dark lips
+ fireplaces
+ sweaters
+ scarves
+ and w/e other #basic sh!t comes along w/ the season ❄️

now bring on the turtlenecks, the faux fur & all the other
winter fashion goodness, this girl's ready to layer up!

    1. love that comparison 😂 but I'm sure you don't! my best advice is go for something form fitting, and that's patterned. (sometimes I feel like a kindergartener while layering w/ plain tops too.) x
